I thought I was going to die.

The numbers were all there — and so were the visions, the coincidences, the epiphanies. 5:12 AM, the 8th of August, 2008. We kept vigil on a cliff by the Missouri River as it rushed by, silently. The stars were bright; our hearts were full.

"When the sun goes out
and the moon is smothered,
when the sky opens up
we'll die with each other."

I thought I was going to die, and I've never been happier in my life.

Thanks to everything for everything.

- Nora, 30 October 2010

released August 8, 2008

The 'debut album' by Nora and the Janitors, recorded around Bismarck and in one of its haunted basements during the summer of 2008. All performance, recording, composition, photography & design by Nora Nygård.

The artwork was updated in 2018 because I'm sick of violence. Audio remastering to follow.
